Pancake Rejection

Pancake Rejection

A Poem by Nashville Rose
"

"You really shouldn't try to ask a girl out after you spill pancakes on her."

"

"I’m sorry,

I really didn’t mean,

To spill pancakes on you."

"It’s okay.

It’s not like,

You meant to."

"Your name?
I didn’t get it,

You must have forgot."

"Hun,

I’m sorry,

But I did not."

"Oh,

Sorry I thought,

We had a spark."

"Son,

It takes more than,

That to win my heart."

"But,

Your one glance,

Made my heart stop."

"Listen,

I’m really not into,

Picking up guys at IHOP."
