Forever with the Sky

Forever with the Sky

A Poem by Nashville Rose
"

Curses aren't meant to be taken lightly, especially with the sky.

"

There once was a human,

Who foolishly tried,

To cage and capture,

All of the sky.

The sky however,

Was not pleased,

So she cursed him,

Immortality.

The man soon found,

He could not die.

So he cursed, he plotted

Against the sky.

No plan worked,

And the man soon found,

The sky and him,

Were forever bound.

Children heard stories

About the day,

The man finally,

Floated away.

What became of him,

No one knows,

Except for the sky,

And the wind that blows.

Nashville Rose
It was just something I came up with during history class. It isn't meant to be something major.
