Enduring Absurdity

Enduring Absurdity

A Poem by Osephyr
"

A short poem on thoughts that seem to be overly anxious to mimic popular opinion.

"

I open eyes to lies and beyond wise

Fantasize for formality of family,

A hivemind,

To moralize the livid sphere of

Proud skies and humanized nature.

One solitary thought as the cognitive juggernaut-

Where humanity is subject to a melting pot,

Inducing blank slot facial features.

The hard fought battle of intellects the

Afterthought of a time brought bitter taste.

Break free from the structure of imagined minds

Because an architected world is the ruined art;

Savoury to the mind, a sore to the practical sense,

And my eyes have no use for the unseen.
