Who is this soul ? Off to conquer my unending arms
asked the skies
Who is this soul ? Striving to blend in me valiantly
Asked the forest
Who is this soul ? Withstanding my realm
Asked the desert
Who is this soul ? Duelling with shivers all the way from hell
Asked the glaciers
Who is this soul ? Patrolling me even in wee hours mutely
Asked the ocean

" I am the one " roared a man , yes, I dare to conquer the mighty skies
to blend in the murky forest
to withstand the scorching desert
to duel with the dynamic glaciers
to patrol the gleaming oceans
For i am a Soldier
I shed sweat in peace, Tears in solitude and blood in war
Folks gets me wrong
I dont march to invade, I march to protect my abode
I too am a human with feelings
I also miss my old mother ' s delicacies
I also miss my little sister's funny faces
I also miss my father's behind the back pat
I also miss my and brother's gruelling match
I also miss my wife's warm embrace
I also miss my children 's birthdays
Yet , I stand there with a smile on face
For i m a Soldier,
Till my senses are dazed !!
I dont long for shiny medals and tempting awards
Oh dear Countrymen ,I yearn for ur sound sleep
A delightful life full of feast and treats
Worry not,i am there to confront any evil beast
For i m a Soldier always on duty
I lived as a Soldier
I died as a Soldier
Keep me alive in your heart and lives
For a girl is waiting for me whom i took as my wife.
