Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by Orizielle
"

Was this your love? A way to say goodbye?

"

I stand alone in this trembling void
Knowing that there's no cure
No painkillers to help me out
When the pain is getting too hard to bear
Is this your love?
A way
to say
good-bye
...

Please don't go...

Why did you take me up
When you had to turn me down?
You knew you had to leave...
It's crystal clear
your smile in my every tear
You don't have to stay
Just go away
I don't need you anymore.

Look back
For once
And this time you won't see me crying.
I am up shining
Rising from the ashes
of me.

Please don't go...

I stand alone " tall and strong
Stronger than I was before
I don't need painkillers to help me out
But I can't hate you, no.
'Cause you loved me when I needed it
Was this your love?
A way
to say
good-bye?
