A Poem by Toney Vega
"

I wrote this for a person I found in my life who's quite special...

"

To see you is to see God smile,
With eyes like nature's spirit of warmth,
And hair like fire solidified yet free,
You even walk with an air of divinity,
And your godlyness is a mystery to me,
You even bring out the God in me,
In fact I'm starting to think You-Me-and Love is the Holy Trinity.

You turn solar winds into cosmic spins
That send me reeling like Apollo.
But like Apollo losing your company makes my spirit hollow,
Though my soul explodes tenfold when you follow Mi.
Fa Sol La Ti Do Re
Mi.
My heart sings you a lullaby,
And as my melodies soar acapella,
My mind drifts from present to past to future and back again.

The time-travelling Hero in search of his princess.

In my journeys I have seen Empires fall and women lose their sanity,
All these tragedies nearly destroyed the optimistic man in me,
But with new eyes I began to see,
The woman for me was standing right in front of me...

Wait..wait.. this is my favorite poem. xD
I can't choose.
You're creativity is amazing..
You're poems are uplifting.
Instead of seeing some with dark, mysterious, depressing meanings behind them,
its nice to read something different.
I enjoyed it.
