To be or not to be fixed

To be or not to be fixed

A Poem by Tay
"

This is a poem about my father. I am fighting quite a few mental conditions and he has always been my saving grace, but at one point he could not help me.

"
To be or not to be fixed:

Over cast on a windy night
Im down to earth but i cant take flight
I needed you to help repair my wings
Ive always counted on you like 1 2 3
But as i counted to 2 i began to look at you
The Front of your face is what im used to but im only seeing the side view
Dont let me reach to 3 with out you here with me
Cant you see i cant fly alone with this broken wing
Did you lose the manual? Or did you throw it out
Because im looking at you taking a different route
So im left to soar alone
How could i fix this wing all on my own
They say the sky is the limit
But i cant reach the limit if im held down by this deficit
My only longing was for you to never give up
But to you, this broken wing was just a little too much
