IF I SHOULD WRITE

Being moral

If I should write for the king,
I will write him a queen.
I will write about kings, and
Not about thrones,
I will write about sins, and
not about wins,
because we need to improve,
From the red to the green.
If I should write for the clock,
I will be writing Tick tock,
If I should write for the birds,
I will write them a song,
Let them sing for my soul,
Sing of peace and console.
If I should write to a king,
I will write him a ruled,
Write him a subject,
I will write him a law
and write him the truth.
If I should write to a child,
I will write him things that will incline.
If I should write about God,
I will write about the sword,
Write about the fall of mankind,
according to the law and
because of the law.
