Unholy cathedral *unfinished*

Unholy cathedral *unfinished*

A Poem by Oregon123
"

Inspired by "They'r going to get you" in the classic " DOOM " soundtrack it reminds me of an unholy place of worship, where dark and twisted deity's are worshipped in equally twisted blasphemous ways.

"
Upon an isle lies a stock of Stone

On blackened naked beach it stands alone

No bird sings and no animals stir

And the iron gates twist in a grotesque curl

Oh awful sight! Oh inquiutous den!

Oh sinful muse of theological sin

Twisted and deviant in all of spirit and mind

No fouler a place will shan't ever find

Never in all the cities lustful venues

Shall such a cosmic crime be so available on the menu

Oh unholy house built from the sea

Ancient people, unholy geometry

In all the eons you stood the seas would roar

You stood a stain to forever endure

Not finished because I wasn't sure what I was divided about it if you have any ideas to suggest them I've seen in love writing about what it looks like inside or maybe would happen inside? Let me know what your ideas are. Thank you and as always enjoy :-)

Consider Lines 5-10, alone as a single poem. The other lines wet the reader's appetite for an epic, with geography and a promise of twisted heinous culture. But lines 5-10 shine a light into an ugly place with glaring simplicity.
