Darksome Dolls

Darksome Dolls

A Poem by Oregon123
"

Inspired by some ambient music I listen to you by my favorite ambient music artists on YouTube:-)

"

glassy eyes and ancient ties,

to forgotten rotten timeworn lies.

Bitter memories old

Of laughing little girls and boys,

enjoying companions silken threads and toys,

cast out into damp and clinging cold.

Rediscovered, unearthed,

put on scales to rediscover their worth,

little cotton children witnessing rebirth,

ancient dolls waiting to play,

In memory  of older brighter days.

waiting in boxes to be seen and  realized,

 Silken threads, glassy eyes,

hidden rage and ancient ties

I'm afraid I always found dolls to be rather creepy. Welcome back, though!
