Perfection- (N); 1. the condition, state, or quality of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defects.

Perfection, says society,
is being without flaws
Perfection, through my eyes,
Is being filled with flaws

Someone who is perfect
Will always make mistakes
Will always be themselves
And isn't afraid of others judgement

A perfect person can be anyone
Any color, any size
The outer appearance doesn't matter
This is perfection through my eyes

A perfect person knows their imperfections
And doesn't try to change
A perfect person loves others freely
And helps them when they need it

Society's view of perfection
Is utterly unachievable
But through my eyes
You are perfection.

This is quite nice. I find it amusing that on your profile that you said you don't like complicated writing. Yet, the way you compose your verses in so short a span is very well intricate. It has an obvious truth to it, but your choice of words, and the placement of you coma's make it possess a depth that makes the reader consider things in multiple lights. "what is perfection, what is considered good, and just how much are we manipulated by our society and own doubt." it's a very well articulated poem. very beautiful.
