Tears Are For The Weak

Standing alone
Watching people pass by
As if looking through glass
Knowing to the others
That she has gone unnoticed
Living life day by day
Like the emotionless shell she has become
Her thoughts lie in the past
In her days of careless youth
Through days of love and pain
And days of smiles and tears
Her mind goes to the day
When the final wall was built
And that was the day she decided
She would never cry again
That tears were for the weak
And weak she could not be.

I felt I could relate to this poem...it's sad as women we often have to develop thick skin in today's society but the way the world has become it seems it's the only way to survive. As a strong female.

Its the divide we live in and how we are working class citizens we aren't just traditional housewives now so they expect us to act and think like men. Maybe we need a female president?;)
