Eternal Rememberance

Eternal Rememberance

A Poem by Your Teaship
"

I wrote this poem for my Grandmother when she passed away. I even was able to read it at her viewing. I loved her very much and Always will. <3 love you Grandma

"

Our love for you will never die
And as we bow our heads to cry
Each mind filled with the happiness you brought
The hearts and souls that you had caught
Will remember you each time they smile
Each tear drop, and heartache worth the while

Love is eternal, and so are you
You’ll never be forgotten, so never worry
You’ll always be missed, as the love grew
Though with crystal tears, our vision became blurry

The sun-kissed sky began to set
Time ticked by, slow with regret
So many words, lost in thought
A battle that raged, and finally was fought

You’ll never be forgotten, our love for you never dies
Now’s the day  to give some hugs and remember the good times
When clouds fade to gray and our mother nature cries
We’ll find a song for us all to sing that makes us smile and always rhymes

I know the pain of losing someone close to you. I studied in another country and my grandmother was in our homeland when she passed away. I wasn't able to attend her funeral. There were so many words left unsaid between us.

Your poem is truly magnificent. A great write, very passionate and expressive. The rhyme scheme you've used is excellent. Every line is bursting with emotion and expresses how much you love your grandmother.

I am looking forward to read more of your poems and other works.
