Who?

Who?

A Poem by Your Teaship
"

Something from the mind and what's eating at the heart.

"
Who?
Who am I?
When is what I do ever true?
Who am I; who are you?
How many times has the question crossed;
how many times have I felt lost?
What reflection do I see?
Am I she; is she me?
Who?
Who am I?
When is what I say ever true?
Who am I; who are you?
How many times have I toyed with the thought;
how many times have I struggled, have I fought?
Whose voice do I hear?
Am I far; am I near?
Who?
Who am I?
Well she is not I and I am not her,
but these questions, these scenarios - they still occur.
I am confused,
I am lost.
But everyone knows that all answers
come with a cost.

Author's Note

Your Teaship
I've been feeling anxious and incredibly stressed lately. I feel like I'm having a bit of an identity crisis - even though that's not technically what's going on. College work, never really getting out, feeling unwanted and horribly unsuccessful -- it all takes a toll. I'm working through it as best I can.

i love how the majority of this poem is questions. Even though i hate questions, these are questions i ask myself daily. Well done! XD

Questions can be tedious things. xD Especially without answers! Thank you! :)
