Criss-Crossed

Criss-Crossed

A Poem by Your Teaship
"

Life can be so confusing sometimes, and it often becomes difficult to tell who we are. Getting mixed in with the chaos can be frightening, but it's always best to be yourself. :)

"
I’ve got little to give,
less to spare
and nothing to compare.
I like the company of others,
though sometimes I don’t feel they’re there.
It’s nothing I can’t handle,
as there’s always next time.
Well I can’t turn on the spin of a dime,
but I’ll take it as a sign.
I’m not who they think I am,
in fact I’m not who I thought I was;
but at least I know that I’m me.
