Broken Shells

Broken Shells

A Poem by Sophia
"

"

We're sitting on the beach.

Playing with sand and broken shells.

The sand reminds us of an hour glass.

The shells reminds us of ourselves.

You, you're heart.

Me, just myself.

I can't help you.

And you can't help me.

We promise never to forget.

And part ways.

We both know we'll break that promise.
