Rivers

Rivers

A Poem by Orahemae December
"

I wrote this to go with a piece of music my band is doing for our spring concert.

"

Hear the rush of life

Sweetly flowing by

Rainbows dancing across my skin

Mirrors the birds that fly

Alone our music

Calm serine

God's gift to man

Life's curving seam.

Together our pounding waves

Send spines to quivers

Our never-ending orchestra

The Beautiful, the Grand Rivers.
