He is My Edward

This poem was inspired by two things: the Twilight saga, and a friend from school. tell me what you think.

He is my perfect heart's desire,

My heart's immortal seen,

My eternal love embodied,

The perfect human-being.

 

His light brown hair is eye catching.

His smile makes my head spin.

The way he smells is breath-taking.

His voice makes me grin.

 

He is my climbing addiction,

My ever-calling drug.

His life is my everything,

I need his simple hug.

 

His golden eyes are truly calming,

His music so serene,

His words my endless lullaby,

His perfections all that's seen.

 

He is my heavenly waking dream,

His face and love I try to see,

When I said I didn't want him,

It was the blackest kind of blasphemy,

 

He is the protector of my heart,

He saves me from myself,

My knight in shining armor,

The keeper of my health.

 

Does he know how important he is?

Does he know how much I care?

Would he trust his life with me?

Would his answer scare?

 

Does he know how much he's wanted?

Of this I am not sure.

Would I spend with him forever?

For this question my answer's pure.

 

He is not the love of my life,

For thats too short by far.

He is the love of my existence,

My love's immortal scar.

 

The outside world holds no interest,

Without him to be there,

I can't exist in a world without him,

Too impossible to bare.

 

He is my Edward through and through,

My heart's never-ending scream,

My eternal love embodied,

The perfect human-being.
