Written when I was a bit depressed and I hated myself for not doing something, though I don't remember now what it was that I didn't do.
One thing I could have done,
But didn't,
One thing I could have asked,
But didn't,
One thing I could have said,
But didn't,
One chance I could have took,
And didn't
And how I wish I had,
And how I hate myself for not,
I could've been happy,
I could've been smilin'
All because of one thing,
All because of one emotion,
All because of,
Fear.
Well stated, well written and excellent revelation of truth....Fear should not hinder but help. This is very stimulating writing and is full of sad imagery...most people will or at least should be able to identify with the content...That is a good thing...I found this poem to be artful, powerful, and written well. It is deserving of many good reviews and it amazes me it has not been applauded....Clap-clap-clap-clap....Hurray! Yea...fantastic (INSERT A WHISTLE)
Captivating for the reader, with emotion hided until it hits you at the end
Nicely done One thing do it again!

This is really good! I like how it is about that one emotion, fear! I can relate to this. There is so much I have not done because I was afraid to. Great poem!
We have fears, but its how we deal with them that separate us. Taking the chance is the riskiest and most rewarding thing that we can do. Know a little bit about fear and how it can stiffle one's life. Am starting to face my fears head-on right now. Still get the anxiety attacks from it, but over time, it won't control me. Thank you for sharing this poem with us.
Powerful! Fear is often the blocker to many things we feel and want to say. I have some many regrets and honestly those regrets are because of fear. This is a great piece, the truth that so many are unable to face.

Oh I like this...I think we're travelling down a "what if" trail of choices but in the end, we're talking about all the things fear steals from us...dreams, desires, hope....a great write!
Fear can stop us from doing many things we regret not doing. I like to try and think hien-sight.. "ok, is this something I'm gonna regret not doing or saying?" Of course it doesn't always work, but it helps. You are very wise young lady!
I can definitely relate to this. Every day I ask myself what if i had done this, or what if I had never done that. And eventually I remember that there is nothing I can do, and only try to take more risks in the future. Anyway, great poem! thanks for sharing!
