Longing For The Day

Everyone has a need for something,
With me it's love and peace.
These are my biggest needs,
And without them I would cease.

To exist without those,
Is no fun at all.
Money buys it for a while,
But then it stops and falls.

Into a deep depression,
Filled with resentment and hate.
I've not found it thus far,
I feel it surely my fate.

I'm longing for the day,
When my half becomes a whole.
Finding it and starting life,
Is my highest goal.
