Infatuation

Infatuation

A romantic interlude

Infatuation
__________

There you were, your eyes met mine.
Across it all we mingled in mind.
Enchanted dance of soul and heart.
Although from fourteen feet apart.

Who are you and who am I?
Our questions bounce and slide.
Frequent glances, awkward stares,
And momentary thoughts of care.

Only few, the times like this.
Only few, the times I miss.
For in your eyes, there lies a sight.
One in which my heart won't fight.
