A false memory you begin to think is real

Listening to friends or family tell stories of yesteryears brings comfort and nostalgia, much like returning to your childhood hometown after decades of abandonment. As you hear them knit together the plot to an old narrative, like a master seamstress sewing a prized gown, you notice patterns in the weave that weren't in the original. Or, maybe they were. It's been so long, that you start to think those ghost threads might actually belong there. And so, the false memory is given life. What was once never a part of the quilt in its original form is stitched in, and remains as if it were always there in the first place. My, what a story, what a memory. So comforting to remember, isn’t it? begin totownknitAnd so, its given life. What was once never a part of the quilt in its original form is stitched in, and remains as if it were always there in the first place. My, what a story, what a memory. So comforting to remember, isn’t it?

About
Mostly a poet and lyricist. I'd say I'm here because I'm looking for an outlet, and feedback, since my friends are sick of being a sounding board, and I'm pretty sure none of them are Engl majors lol... more..
