Entry 4. Lüzephaven

A Chapter by Ric Miner

Lüzephaven

When the air tastes like memories

It always seems like we're running short on nostalgia. And when we find it, some of us only spend seconds there. Too caught up in what the pixels on our screen are telling us or what's coming next to remember all that's been in our lives. But what about destination memory? Those times when you walk somewhere, take a deep breath, and begin the process of striking lightening in your neurons. Such rush of memory made from smell happens all in a matter of seconds, but is a feat not so small in stature. The feelings caught when you placed the frame around the picture that is memory comes flooding back, and slams against you like a wave to the chest. Cerebral pictures of the play you staged here last start to unfold. All this from a breath. Why? Why would anyone want to spend only moments here? There's something that says, no, you should not stay forever, but remember, this is a part of what you were, and is forever written in the book of life. So enjoy the rush, and take time to relive through lüzephaven.

About
Mostly a poet and lyricist. I'd say I'm here because I'm looking for an outlet, and feedback, since my friends are sick of being a sounding board, and I'm pretty sure none of them are Engl majors lol... more..
