Dialectic pride

Dialectic pride

A Poem by Ric Miner

Go ahead
Speak and see
that even the tongue
trips up on its cheek
So while you're shining
and full of glee
Don't forget
you're a pocket
Hanging on a tree:
Collecting mostly
Much of what
Nobody needs,

Except a giant dose
Of humility.

About
Mostly a poet and lyricist. I'd say I'm here because I'm looking for an outlet, and feedback, since my friends are sick of being a sounding board, and I'm pretty sure none of them are Engl majors lol... more..
