The clouds contour

The clouds contour

A Poem by Ric Miner

Did the invisible forces that shape you, have some unforeseen effect on me too?

And while it stirs, mixes and bends, The silent words it speaks transmit what it cannot send. I am. I was. I will. I always have been.

I watch, to see what happens

You move, so quickly it seems slow, a silent trade of static for charge until you let go. The sum of conditions, friction, and ignition, in an instant it glitters like gold, a reminder of the power that powerlessness holds.

So remain for a moment to teach me what I didn't know, then float on by to meet the next person who sees you in their soul.

About
Mostly a poet and lyricist. I'd say I'm here because I'm looking for an outlet, and feedback, since my friends are sick of being a sounding board, and I'm pretty sure none of them are Engl majors lol... more..
