You Left Me

You Left Me

A Poem by Endless Rain
"

Drowning In My Own Misery

"

My dream is I want to be who I want to be
(This is all I see)
I've given up on my faith to replace the bitterness
(I'm stuck with hopelessness)
You've showed me how to breathe again
(I'm still stuck with sin)
Where the hell have you been?
(You left me my friend)
Was I destined to blow away with the wind?
(These feelings I can't defend)

Tell me I am worth something to you
Show me yourself and please be true
I'm tired of searching endless hay stacks
And trying to cover up my own tracks
When will this ever end.. when will it end
Where the hell have you been?
(You left me my friend)

Wow. Striking.

Very dramatic tale of betrayal and dismay!
(And I mean tha in a good way)
