DENIED

DENIED

A Poem by Endless Rain
"

Ein Lied

"

EVERY time I have to try
EVERY time I say goodbye..
So many times where I've lied
So many times I drift with the tide

Will you be the one by my side?
"NEVER! you are denied"

Will you love me today
"NEVER! just go away!"

Will you love me anyway?
"NEVER! I hope you die today"

So much hate pulsing through her veins
The blood stings while it rains

So much hate it's killing me every day
My skin boils every single day

EVERY time I have to try
EVERY time I say goodbye..
So many times where I've lied
So many times I drift with the tide

Tell me you love me
Tell me you want me
"NEVER! YOU ARE DENIED"

Will you be the one by my side?
"NEVER! you are denied"

Will you love me today
"NEVER! just go away!"

I like how this poem plays out two opposite emotions so strongly. The speaker seems sad and longs for something more, while the other person is angry and unforgiving; I love it!
