Wind

Wind

A Poem by Endless Rain

In the distance I hear a cry
The moon is lit and everything is silent
Feeling that any moment I could die
The wind that approaches feels violent
Blinding me with sand
I surrender to its fierce nature
The wind beats me down with its hand
This wind, a demon, a furious creature
It whispers my name as it whirls by
Hearing its numbing cries
This feeling of sorrow that I can not deny
The wind fades away as it dies
