Remembering The Fallen

Remembering The Fallen

A Poem by Endless Rain

Let their souls rest
They passed the test
They gave their lives for us
As their bodies turn to dust
Let us remember them
Honor them by honoring Him
They died to make this country what it is today
Let their memories live on and never fade away
Even though I don't like the war I respect every woman and man
Who served in this war to protect this land
Take one moment of silence for the fallen of today and the past
Let their dreams always last
So their son or daughter will grow up and see their father or mother
As a hero knowing that those trials made them even tougher
Even though they are gone we can still hear their song
And their song will help us persevere through the hard times making us strong
