V.IA Poem by Ookpikhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Krf2fyazu_oI walked to a local cathedral tonight, it's The second time I've walked those words Circling that stone inlaid castle. On the way home, I met an owl. Silent wings sung as it dove, Ironically, straight for my head. No word of a lie, it's the second owl I've seen today. The first in the form of a photograph - The second on the way home from a holy site. It's the second meeting that has me awestruck; It dove and I ducked - than while perched It watched me wander my way home. An odd night for owls - and an odd night to be awestruck For what seems like the fifth time, by the way your words Fit effortlessly into the hollow that I have let erode my heart. An odd night to be awestruck twice. And I hope I'm not making any mistake But if what I have, is something you want Than by all means, it is yours to take.
