VIIA Poem by Ookpikhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vopR3ys8KwIf the eyes are the window to the soul, Than the face is the house And the door is the mouth. ... Letting in our out, whatever the proprietor sees fit. ... The eyes tell a lot, where they go And where they land. ... Whether they rest in the corner, spying without subtlety, Or they fall to the ground With the coinciding and subsequent frown ... The face tells more, A relaxed jaw indicates trust Without intent or concern. A bitten jaw reflects suppressed fury. A swallowing of words better left unsaid. ... A smile can be deceiving For it is not necessarily rooted in truth. And if the plastic smile Reaches to the crows feet, You know you are looking at an accustomed liar. Caught in the brambles and briars Of a mind with unjustifiable priors. ... The key to a happy head And a happy life Lies in Honesty And despite inherent gullibility, Is rooted in Honor ... Breathe deep Let your face be read Reflect on the choices and the motives Discern for one's self between right and wrong And move With the best foot forward ... Breathe deep While you still have lungs to do so ... And be merry While you still have a heart That can. ... We all only live once after all So drink carpe diem And exhale action. ... In sound mind And kind heart, A practice in and of itself That reflects a natural Buddhist Martial art. ... Compassion ... - ᐅ'ᐱ'
