Letting go

As we all know letting go is the hardest thing to do but we also know that nothing is gained without sacrafice sometime the things we let go of for a sacrafice are not always the best choises to make yet we can't help but make them.

Letting her go was the hardest part

a girl I had loved dear to my heart

the one who was there when I needed her most

the one I gave up for a boast

I couldn't take all the grief the guilt I had inside

as each day passed I slowly died

for although a new love had I found the old one wasn't going down

it ate me up inside and out

now I've returned with doubt

have I made the right choise returning to her?

when I left for the right reasons

not because I wanted to not because I'm scaired

but for her honor and love which I am awaire

she is long gone far from me yet my heart her name it beats

yet still a love so clear and yet so far

surely it will not last for time will change

and with it both our names

we love we laugh we see the light

but deep within us we fight

we fight for love we fight for what's right

but we're on diffrent battle grounds you and I

you must be strong and continue your search

for mine has met it's end at this perch

for one war is over another begins

a war indie myself fighting my friends

and although I will loose many a men

letting you go is the whole world then.
