Never ment for this era

This time is not the time I should have been born or lived in

a time of poverty and prejudice

ruled by lies and greed

by those who don't even succeed

we hope and we dream we act to make a better world

but in this world in this time

you can't do s**t cause it only goes in a  circle

even love love used to have meaning

now it's just a game of who can last the longest

or a cheap trick to get rid of lust

it's not the time I should have been living in

I should have lived in a time when honor was known by actions and a sword

and where loyalty knew no bounds and love was always worth fighting for

but no I had to get stuck right in the middle of hell

in the worst place and worst time of any era

where nothing has honor and nobody is loyal

where love is a fairytale

and is not worth the blood and pain you sacrafice for it

i love this poem bc it seems so true. I like how you pointed out honor, and how you emphazised love,
bc it seems impossible now. How we try to create our fairytale, but like other factors take that away.
