Messy

Messy

A Poem by Drea Dawson
"

Fall 2007

"

I poured my thoughts
on empty words
Stood back,
and watched the floor get messy.

I always end up here
on the floor
and it's always hard to read.

Bunch of metaphors,
fighting over adjectives
and in Spanish none the less.

I keep myself company
Me and my strings
But that is all I keep.

What a beautiful poem. It was heart felt and emotional. I loved it.
