Someday

it's something I'm starting to write.

Into the night, I seek what makes me settle down to despair

I want to learn a better path

Lamentably, my past is controlling who I am

Frightened to open my mind

My mind has some painful memories I can’t

Let go or maybe it reminds myself who I used to be

Can a person like myself close his eyes and recall his special memories?

I’m not fine with living another false life

Too many  battles raging in my essence

I don’t desire to leave

The fallen crying over his body being carried over by a monster without a name

But your face, your eyes

Your lips, your aspirations

Are making me feel myself once more

Someday, I’ll come back to say what I’ve been holding back

This heart, won’t let you go

Let me be your guardian angel
