WHERE'S THE GIRL?

WHERE'S THE GIRL?

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Looking back and longing for happier times.

"
WHERE'S THE GIRL?

Morning sun is shinning bright.
Birds are singing in the light.
When the flowers start to bloom,
I'll be cleaning up my room!

Clutter, clutter everywhere!
Where's my shoes and comfy chair?
I am buried in this mess!
I'll sit on the floor I guess.

Where's the girl that used to be
Neat and prim for all to see.
Is she hiding from this scene
So she won't begin to scream?

What's the answer...I don't know.
I just wish that it would snow!
Things are better when it's white
And I leave the mess 'till night!

Just an adorable write. Sounds like my son's room way back when he was a teenager. Your rhyming and rhythm skills always impress, Sharon. Loved it. Lydi**

Awww1 You just made my day sweetums. Thank you. ~Sharon
The rhyme scheme here is a delightful match to the lightheartedness of the poem. Sit on the floor indeed.

Such a beautiful review my friend! Thanks ever so much. ~Sharon
You have just described our Beth’s bedroom dear Sharon. What a messy chick she is, but also a very lovable and generous girl. I smiled at your clutter my friend and enjoyed your poem.

Thanks for a nice review Chris...I appreciate you!.
I remember these days....being young but I was always cluttered...oh, the lectures I would get...
Maybe Dopey and Sneezy could clean it up...Well, I am sitting on the floor debating just like the speaker of this poem.

Yes, I believe so.
I've just cleaned my room of its clutter and it feels good. It was in a chaotic state for quite a while. I think we all have a room like that eventually. ha
