SEARCHING FOR A PLACEA Poem by Miss SharonWords need a place to go.SEARCHING FOR A PLACE Morning news reaching frenzy zone. Sad grey day with secrets to own. Nights linger low on opal moons, As fever breaks the month of June. My words are searching for a place That they will never ever taste. And thoughts just seem to run amuck Where days sell for a measly buck. What is this need I'm wont to own That flutters while the prairie groans? And where is God to amputate The final churning, burning slate? ****************************
