WARNING SIGNS

WARNING SIGNS

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Soon the message sent to all will cause each soul to flee.

"
WARNING SIGNS

A flash within a troubled mind
Before the day began,
Gave credence to another time
Upon the mountain sand.

With winds that splayed their icy cries
On heights that bore their shame,
Relentless brooding prayers to God
Now bore the guilt and blame.

The wooing calls on lofty plains
Heard round about the air,
Seemed likened to an angels voice
On silken wings of prayer.

But then an angry vision cast
Upon the waters fierce,
Gave warning signs about the days
That soon each soul would pierce.

Give heed good men to what you hear
And what the eyes may see.
For soon the message sent to all
Will cause each soul to flee!

There may been warning signs in the past, that wasn't from an angel's wings, and this time is not either. the winds and fierce water brood something else...perhaps the universe is unstable, and whoever is up there is warning us of what is to become.....a very cruel world, which if gets out of hand could affect our souls; then they would flee to safety.
Nice write Sharon, I think I get what you're saying.

A ballade in iambic meter. I like it! And I, a good man, hope the bad man does hear your message loud and clear!

Well thank you kind sir...and good man! I appreciate you. ~Sharon
dear Sharon.. we live in uncertain times when Church Bells Ring sadly for the beautiful people… the Babies and Children and Elderly and all in between. But still the Flowers appear and Clouds form in the Sky of 💕 loved ones so dear. Why does the Spirit of Beauty struggle so. tenderly, Pat

A reminder that we live in an unstable world. From climate change to conflict, there is plenty of it. For peace lovers and lovers of our planet the outlook is bleak. Wonderfully penned dear Sharon
