A hope-filled write...hopefully!

LET THERE BE...

Let there be peace with words at play

And rue the blight of somber days,

When suns forget to shine.

Let there be laughter through the stay

Of evening stars on clouds that sway,

To mend the heart which pines.

Let there be music in the air

And dancing fairies everywhere,

With silken flutter wings.

Let there be children who will share,

Stories and heart-songs without care

Which prompts the world to sing.

Let there be moon glow for each eye
And baseball sounds...some apple pie,

The summer days to fill.

Let there be kindness, truth...not lies,

For quickly every hour flies.

Then breath of life is stilled.

A poem with uplifting thoughts. We all need those dear Sharon. In times when there is much restlessness and division, it is good to remember the little things in life which can give much joy.
