FINDING THE ONE

FINDING THE ONE

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

A positive poem meant to enlighten and bring a smile.

"
FINDING THE ONE

She sat beneath the maple tree
Without a care or woe.
It always seemed that sunshine's warmth
Would follow where she'd go.

She smiled and sang to all the birds
That sat within the tree,
And thanked her lucky stars each day
That she was "meant to be!"

One day she came upon a child
With tears upon his cheeks.
She went to him and helped him see
That he was NOT too weak.

Those tears are sent to calm the soul...
If you allow them to.
Just reach to One who holds the stars
And He will see you through!

The next time he was feeling blue,
He did that very thing...
And was relieved to find the One
That happiness could bring!

a beautiful, heart-felt poem, about people helping others who need help; in this case it is about feeling alive again, like life is worth living; find something spiritual to focus upon and days will change to sunny and bright. I love the line "Tears are sen to calm the soul" and I believe that letting emotions out does calm the soul. Great writing Sharon,

What a lovely write this is, Sharon. Faith is a strong theme in your poetry and in this one the faith was shared and helped someone else. It is impressive how you manage to keep the rhythm and rhyme going throughout all your poems. I loved this one. Lydi**

' She smiled and sang to all the birds - That sat within the tree, - And thanked her lucky stars each day - That she was "meant to be!"

I feel better, less stressed and ready to take on anything now, Sharon! Their is so much emotion in your finely laid poem, it has natural charm and unforced innocence. it couldn't have more because you know when enough is enough.. gentle, subtle, musical.

Many thanks for calming my day... stay well, stay safe. Please.

A beautiful piece of classical poetry, Sharon. Uifting and giving. Helping an unhappy child see the bigger picture. Flows like a stream and has gentle rhyme. What a treasure the 'she' is here. Always a delight to read you my friend. All the best always
