IF YOU LISTEN

IF YOU LISTEN

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Poem of hope for a world in pain.

"
IF YOU LISTEN

If you listen, you will hear
Something in the wind...so clear
Gently stills the heart in pain
Off'ring hope amid disdain

Feel the brush of angel wings
Soft the voice that sweetly sings
Giving hope to those who call
Lifting those who 'oft would fall

Brush the tears from out the eye
Cease the anguish of the cry
Nothing is too hard for One
Who has sent His only Son

Hi Sharon, i love the content of this write, the hope jumps off the page. The faith sings. Such gentle words paint the strongest canvas in the mind. The flow and the rhyme are exceptional. Another wonderful piece, Sharon. Have a wonderful Friday. Hugs always....Mike.

not a problem
there is much hope in the piece; your imagery is soft and but with much advice; if you listen very carefully your pain will be b; it just all washed away by the one from above, his Son....I love the structure and rhyme, it all melds together so well.
Lovely.
Best
B.

You are much too kind...thank you! ~Sharon
First, a poem of true hope in such tormented times. Your poem is soft like a prayer sang by angels to give hope to the souls. A soul prayer is always a heart prayer. Such heart warming words and very well written! And the last part, ohhhh I had tears in my eyes...Thank you so much for a truly beautiful poem dear Sharon:-))) God Bless you
