Oh sometimes there are those who bring it upon themselves and end up on the street, but in this world, so many are just lost to the capitalistic system...and are not part of the chosen.
They make it the best they can...and cardboard houses don't have very nicely manicured yards.

How true this is...the homeless did not necessarily bring on their circumstances themselves. Sometimes circumstances rule our world and determine our days. Again, the compassion in this write is touching and the rhyming is super. Lydi**

so very true .. a lesson to be learned and re-learned over and over ..fine rhyme and rhythm Ms. Sharon .. well said ... i think this covid thing brings life's fragility starkly into perspective ... no matter what kind of "cushion" we might en masse ... it can be yanked out from under us in a flash ... i think a beautiful heart is reflected in this poem :)

this is an ever increasing phenomenon more highlighted with Covid 19
Apparently we (our Community) has the province's largest homeless community and I wonder how long before tragedy sets in
