Tension ran high in the large crowd that had formed
in front of the Braxton Power Plant. You could feel
the anxiety pulsing through the shouted threats and
demands of those who feared the new regulations
being forced on them because of climate change.
Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a home-
less man sitting on the sidewalk nearby. His clothes
were torn and dirty, as one would expect, and his
scruffy little pooch sat close beside him.
Just then a nice looking young man...clean cut and
wearing the latest Armani attire, came up and handed
him a sandwich. ''Ya hungry mister?'' he asked. The
old man nodded and smiled a big toothless grin as he
reached for his prize.
well told Sharon .. a poignant vignette ... the working stiffs, state of the globe, the poor man and the rich man .. i find it refreshing you gave the rich guy a heart ... they seem to take such a beating from self righteous people of the peoples ;) nice prose piece .. very smooth and surgical says i .. plenty there to create setting scene and characters and only 3 Vs ... nice one!

Thanks so much my friend for your beautiful response to this write! ~Sharon
this is beautiful....paying it forward...helping another...kindness...
not enough of it is shown in today's climate...and i am not talking about the weather.
Armani shows that he knows the homeless man wears a suit of worth...
