I SEE YOUR FACE EACH TIME THE SUN
A Poem by
Miss Sharon
Remembering and missing my only son.
I SEE YOUR FACE EACH TIME THE SUN
I see your face each time the sun
Arises from its sleep
And tho this is a treasured gift
I close my eyes and weep
I miss the times we used to share
The words you often spoke
Your sense of humor made me laugh
Yes, you could tell a joke!
Life is not fair so many times
It was not fair to you
It's been almost six years and yet
I can't believe its true
But I am grateful for the time
That you were by my side
My precious boy, my only son...
You fill my heart with pride!

Oh, this is very special and has much meaning for me. I have a son and he "fills my heart with pride." Good work, Miss Sharon.

Thanks ever so much my friend. ~Sharon
Beautiful and moving, Miss Sharon. The opening stanza is so powerful, grateful for the memory even though it causes new sorrow. I am so sorry for your loss, Miss Sharon. You honor your son's memory well.
