A poem to my precious daughter....

 
A LITTLE GIRL LAY SLEEPING

She looks just like an angel,
So small and held in dream.
I can't believe that she is mine,
I'm undeserved it seems.

She came to me so innocent,
Wrapped up in blankets pink.
She's made my life more meaningful
Than what I aught could think.

Her laughter lights up every room,
Her smile adorns days' start.
I'm grateful to the Lord above...
We're bound right at the heart.

A little girl lay sleeping,
And I'm so glad she's mine!
She'll always be my pride and joy,
Beyond the end of time!
