A SUBCONSCIOUS COLLUSIONA Poem by Miss SharonRemembering and missing my son.A subconscious collusion the color of
Memory washes over me with Battlefield gray bouquets. This date is encircled in red on every Calendar I own with smiles that Forgot to remember And are wiped clean, quickly vanishing like An ant in the mouth of a furnace. Leafing through the dusty Album of black and white photographs, I often wonder where your beautiful Smile now resides other than the Faded opaque image clinging Tenaciously to that last Drop of glue. ~~ RODNEY ALAN PEEPLES "Loving and missing you forever and a day my sweet son." © 2017 Miss Sharon |
