I SAW THEM HUDDLEDA Poem by Miss SharonHomelessness. In my opinion, a crime in our affluent society....no matter the reason.I SAW THEM HUDDLED I saw them huddled on the ground Beneath a simple spread. The wind was cold that win'try day And yet they had no bed. What circumstance or evil fate Had placed them both at risk, For on the streets no one is safe... On this I must insist. Oh, I know some would front and say He brought this on himself. But who are we to scoff and judge When someone needs our help? We never know what lies beyond The corner of our day, So it behooves us...friend to be To those along our way. *** © 2017 Miss SharonFeatured Review
