TEST DRIVE...1908A Poem by Miss SharonWe've come a long way baby!TEST DRIVE...1908 Oh me oh my...how I can fly... But I can hardly see. Behind the wheel of such a thing As Grandad's Model T! It sure is bumpy on this road With potholes all around. I hold my breath and listen for Some ordinary sounds. But what I hear instead of that Is laughter from the back. My ornery brother pokes some fun... And won't give me some slack! Then as we turn the corner 'round To where we live and work, We flip on over in the mud And he calls me a jerk! *** © 2017 Miss Sharon |
