MY SPECIAL PRESENT

MY SPECIAL PRESENT

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Christmas memories....

"

MY SPECIAL PRESENT

A hot cup of cocoa
On cold winter nights
Brings mem'ries of Christmas
And children's delights

To sit by the fireplace
With one that you love...
Something so simple
Brings peace from above

The laughter of children
With snowballs in hand
Soothes all of your senses
And everything's grand

A new Christmas morning
With packages tied
And ribbons of color
Some red, green and white

But my special present
Does not need a bow
It's my hubby's kisses...
And I love them so!
***

Merry Christmas Jim as we share
Our 51st. Christmas together!

wow, 51, congratulations...that is great.

love the poem...and the old feelings it generates of my past christmases, especially when i was a kid. when christmas really meant something more than materialism and commercialism.
