The beauty and sacredness of nature...

BEGUILED BY NATURE'S CHARMS

For me...this is a time to fly
And never ask the reason why
As snow lies soft and smooth.
I'm witness to these sacred sights
As nature preens each day and night
The while her silence soothes.

She whispers soft and bids me come
To laugh and play 'till setting sun
And I'm a child once more.
The frosted air blows through my hair
And She well knows that I don't care...
I welcome what's in store!

Inside the igloo we are warm
And we're protected from the storm
Which comes but leaves no harm.
I know that there could never be
A better place just made for me
Beguiled by nature's charms!

Nature preening! I like that. Nature is so welcoming to us, giving everything freely! She is charming, for sure. I like how in this poem, no one is harmed by Nature's storms, because that isn't always the case (when she needs to prove a point, she does!!). It's just light and fun
